Confidence

She wraps herself in strength, carries herself with confidence, and works hard, strengthening her arms for the task at hand. (Proverbs 31:17, The Voice)

Do you know someone who seems to be full of boundless energy? They seem to get more done in a day (than you can get done in a week). A person like the above knows both their strengths and weaknesses. Unless they have time to do something to the best of their abilities, they don’t commit to it. A person like this realizes behind every organization is a person they are committing to. Their loyalty to an individual can always be depended on. It’s as constant as the seasons.

Another thing about this kind of individual is that they consider everything they do for someone as a way to express their love for God. They are fully aware that not everyone has the talent, time-management skills, and desire to undertake all that that they are doing. This is a gift their heavenly Father has given them to share with others. The people that these giving individuals serve realize rather quickly how dependent on their generosity they have become.

Someone like this is organized, and is aware of how long it will take them to get everything done in the time allotted. This person is aware of how much energy they have to accomplish their goal. They know exactly where to go to get the bargains that will keep them under cost (and on time) for the project’s completion. This person knows what other individuals they need to connect with to make everything a success.

If the above description is not you, 2 Corinthians 9:7 (VOICE) provides an important point you still need to remember in giving to others: Giving grows out of the heart—otherwise, you’ve reluctantly grumbled “yes” because you felt you had to or because you couldn’t say “no,” but this isn’t the way God wants it. For we know that God loves a cheerful giver. How can you become more giving to important causes around you? Remember, that people need you, and you need them. The only way to please God is by helping the people He created. How can you be all that your heavenly Father wants you to be in this area of your life?
