Climb on the Bandwagon

Though I’m not a beer drinker, I find real meaning in the Coors Light conquering billboard motto of Whatever your mountain, climb on.” [i]

·       When life brings you mountains, you don’t waste your time asking why; you spend your time climbing over them.” [ii]

·       It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.” [iii]

·       “Only if you have been in the deepest valley, can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.”[iv]

Isaiah 26:4 (NLT) provides us with valuable insight in conquering our struggles. “Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.”

The chorus of this song gives realistic advice on conquering life challenges (emotional mountain climbing)

No matter how difficult it may be to pursue your God-given passion; don’t give up. Trust your Heavenly Father to know the perfect path your life should take. The following poem children’s provides the importance of never allowing other well-meaning individuals to determine what they think is best for you.

Listen to the mustn’ts, child,
Listen to the don’ts
Listen to the shouldn’ts
The impossible, the won’ts
Listen to the never haves
Then listen close to me –
Anything can happen, child,
Anything can be.[vi]

[i] The term “climb on the bandwagon” refers to joining a popular person, party, or cause.
