“God allows all things to happen for valid reasons. Some will be revealed to us, some won’t. We need not to seek nor understand those reasons, but to have faith in His wisdom.” (@QuotesEmpire.com)
King Solomon, David and
Bathsheba’s son, was wise about the cycle of life for farmers (and everyone
else). In Ecclesiastes 3:2 (ICB): There is a time
to be born and a time to die. There is a time to plant and a time to pull up
plants. I will never
understand the heavenly Father’s logic when it comes to human beings.
Why does God allow some people live longer than others (like
my maternal grandmother who lived to be 105 years-old)? Why does God choose to
heal some people on Earth and others in Heaven (like my younger brother, Jim)? Why does God decide to get involved in some
situation, but choose to remain silent on others (like Bobbi and I’s 8
miscarriages)? I would remind you that the heavenly Father can heal both
physically, emotionally, or however He feels you need.
Though I cannot answer the reasoning of God in my own life, I
can provide you with the lyrics to Kari Jobe’s song “Healer,” which might
provide a glimmer of insight (and hope) for you.
You hold my
every moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
You heal all my disease
Chorus
I trust in You, I trust in You
I believe You're my healer
I believe You are all I need
I believe You're my portion
I believe You're more than enough for me
Jesus You're all I need
You hold my
very moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
And heal all my disease
Chorus
Jesus You're all I need
Nothing is
impossible for You
Nothing is impossible
Nothing is impossible for You
You hold my world in Your hands
Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible
Nothing is impossible for You
You hold my world in Your hands
Chorus
Yes Jesus
You're all I need
You're more
than enough for me
Jesus You're all I need
More than enough for me
1 John 5:20 (ERV) says: And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding. So now we can know the one who is true, and we live in that true God. We are in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God, and he is eternal life. As I have stated in this post, God is not always going to provide all the answers to the “whys” of your life. This above verse does assure us of Jesus’ caring, truthful nature. Who are you depending on to keep your life in order? Make the right choice.[i]
[i] This post was suggested by my wife, Bobbi, who has
been waiting patiently for me to come up with written inspiration for this Kari
Jobe song.
