“Sometimes the questions are complicated, and the answers are simple.” (Dr. Seuss)
My mother
tells me that I have enjoyed asking questions since I was a child. This
question tradition has continued into my adulthood with this blog. I never
profess to have the answers to the questions I ask on ENCOURAGE ME. I am so thankful that of the members have had
answers to my questions that have helped deal with issues in my own life. Thank
you.
I am big
on resources that can give me what I consider the right answer for my
question. Whenever I can’t find an
answer to my question after researching it on the Internet, the staff of my
local library (the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 614-645-2275) is always good
to help me find an answer (or to see something in a different way). Very rarely
do I end a call with the CML staff disappointed with what they told me.
The real
world is always full of unanswered questions like “why did this tragedy happen
to me?” God does not always choose to answer all our questions to Him during
our lifetime. He is big enough to take your questions (as well as your anger if that occurs). He is not offended by either one from you, His cherished daughter or son. I believe that many of the important questions we seek answers
for in our fallen world; will either be forgotten (or of little importance) in
the perfection of an eternal Heaven in front of an infinite God. Jeremy Camp’s
song “The Answer” gives the correct response to every inquiry we have on the
planet Earth (during our lifetime):
So many
questions
The world is reaching
So many hurting, so many lost
With all this thriving, who can we lean on?
Creations crying, out from the dark
Chorus 1
I know the answer, to every question
The one solution, to every fear
I know my helper, where it goes from
Jesus, He is the answer
He sees our
sadness, He feels our sorrow
And in our weakness, He is strong
He holds the weight of, all of our failings
Great is our sin, but greater the cross
Chorus 1
For every
heart that's breaking
For every soul that's shaken
For every sickness, there's healing in Your hands
Let every heart awaken
To see it's You who saves us
You are my help and the rock on which I stand
Chorus 2
You are the answer, to every question
The one solution, to every fear
You are my helper, where it goes from
Jesus, You are the answer
Jesus, You are the answer
You are the
answer
You are the answer
You are the answer
Sometimes life can be
so exhausting (and debilitating) that you have little energy to ask the right
questions to come up with the answers you need. Maybe you’ve just existed (without
real joy) for the longest time, and you know something needs to change in the near
future. Jesus makes this statement just for you in Matthew 11:28 (TPT): Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life for I am your oasis. Depend on Jesus and your faith (like a lifeline when you're emotionally drowning in your life challenges ). He is there for you all the time.
