Ok

“When you finally accept that it's ok not to have answers and it's ok not to be perfect, you realize that feeling [of being] confused is a normal part of what it is to be a human being.” (Winona Ryder)

I am a man of many questions. Sometimes,  I find the answers that are right for me. (This makes me happy.) Other times I have no idea what the right answer is, and ask others for their opinion on my question. This method of involving others seems to work well for me. There are those situations in life that are so painful that no answer will ever give you all the information you want (or need).

In situations like this everything about you has been shaken to the very core of who you are.  It’s hard to determine what is right and wrong. If you have ever been in that situation (or are right now), possibly the lyric’s to Scott Wesley Brown’s song, “When Answers Aren’t Enough”  can provide you with a starting point in trusting the wisdom of Jesus.

You have faced the mountains of desperation
You have climbed, you have fought, you have won
But this valley that lies coldly before you
Casts a shadow you cannot overcome

And just when you've thought you had it all together
You knew every verse to get you through
But this time all the sorrow broke more than just your heart
And reciting all those verses just won't do

Chorus

When answers aren't enough, there is Jesus
He is more than just an answer to your prayer
And your heart will find a safe and peaceful refuge
When answers aren't enough, He is there

Instead of asking why did it happen
Think of where it can lead you from here
And as your pain is slowly easing, you can find a greater reason
To live your life triumphant through the tears

 Chorus

Nahum 1:7 (ERV) says this: The Lord is good. He is a safe place to go to in times of trouble. He takes care of those who trust Him. God never promised your life would be simple (with no problems ever). Both good and bad help you mature into what your heavenly Father wants (and needs) you to become.  God does promise to be there with you as He supports you through every life challenge. You can trust this.
