Adding

“The believers praised God, and were respected by all the people. More and more people were being saved every day, and the Lord was adding them to their group.”  (Acts 2:47, ERV)

To change the unhealthy habits in your life, people need to tell you the truth. If you’re going to get well, you’re going to need support. A small group requires honest community. You’ll never change some things in your life on your own. These are those habits that you don’t want anybody else to know about.

You’re never getting victory over those things until you share them with someone. You just need to find one person whom you trust. Someone who will love you unconditionally not be judgmental, and pray for you. Revealing your feelings is the beginning of healing. If you’re a believer, you belong in the family of God. If you are part of God’s community, you realize there are two important parts to it:

Worship that attracts others to the Heavenly Father is done through volunteering in the church, showing hospitality to others, and being fully engaged in the worship experience. To be busy about the mission of God by bringing souls into the Kingdom of Heaven, prayer from the community is needed; offering your time in service for others is necessary; and an invitation to hear the Word of God a  could be life-changing.

“Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love.” (Hebrews 10:24, TPT)

“In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t.” (Romans 12:4-6, MSG)[i]
