We’d all like to live our life with no regrets.  Have you ever not done something you wish you had? Regret is a part of the human experience that should cause us to embrace needed change. When you that small voice in your head speaks, you’ve got to know when to listen to it.

When you get e older, you might look back, and reevaluating the choices you’ve made throughout your life. Sometimes, we forget to look towards the future to validate the importance of an authentic and meaningful life. Remember that it’s never too late to do the things you enjoy the most. Here are some things you will regret not doing if you wait until you’re old. Don’t regret …

·        Not saying, “I love you”

·        Not trying new things (or a big risk)

·        Failing to make physical fitness a priority

·        About unimportant grudges that you’ve held in the past

·        Letting yourself be defined by cultural expectations or gender roles

·        Not being grateful for all God has given you throughout your life

·        Not moving fast enough with important decisions

·        Not playing with your kids enough (while they are young)

·        Not standing up for yourself in important decisions

·        Not traveling when you had the chance to

·        Staying in a bad relationship

·        Working too much

·        Not learning another language

·        Forgoing sunscreen

·        Missing the chance to see your favorite musicians

·        Not quitting a terrible job

·        Not realizing how beautiful you were

·        Not listening to your parents' advice

      ·        Supporting others' dreams over your own

·        Not volunteering enough

·        Neglecting your teeth

·        Missing the chance to ask your grandparents questions before they die

·        Not stopping enough to appreciate the moment

·        Refusing to let friendships run their course

·        Worrying too much

·        Getting caught up in needless drama

·        Never taking a big risk (especially in love)

·        Not taking the time to develop contacts and network

·        Not spending enough time with loved ones

·        Never performing in front of others
