Chosen by Love

“My Darling, you are altogether beautiful, and there is no blemish in you.” (Song of Solomon 4:7, ISV)

My adult daughter, Allena, finds so much validation (by her Heavenly Father) in the above verse that she had Bible cards made (some time ago) to use in any of her missionary endeavors (see below).

Have you ever wondered what a blameless God sees in you that makes Him want to never stop loving you? You know your imperfections because you live inside yourself daily. Below are just a few of the things you can count on from your Heavenly Father.

The love of the Almighty…

1.      Adopted me into His family (forever).

2.       Adores the imperfections (that make you who you are).

3.       Blesses you with both hope and trials (for personal growth).

4.      Can drive away life’s uncertainties (wherever they exist).

5.       Created you before you existed (in your mother’s womb).

6.    Is never-ending (past, present, and future).

7.     Is present when life becomes difficult.

8.     Knows your pain (and suffering).

9.     Loves me despite my frailties.

10. Makes you the person (you wish to be).

11.   Provided you with His words (in scripture).

12.  Provides a way for forgiveness when  you make a mistake

13.  Sacrificed His only Son on the cross (just for you).

14. Wishes to have a relationship with you.

“We do not segment our lives, giving some time to God, some to our business or schooling, while keeping parts to ourselves. The idea is to live all of our lives in the presence of God, under the authority of God, and for the honor and glory of God. That is what the Christian life is all about.” (R. C. Sproul) [i]
