No matter where in the world you reside. There are certain things about the Almighty that will always remain the same.

1. His message:

§  ”Every good present and every perfect gift comes from above, from the Father who made the sun, moon, and stars. The Father doesn’t change like the shifting shadows produced by the sun and the moon.” (James 1:17, NOG)

§  “In the Bible, therefore, we hear the voice of one who is not limited by time, one to whom the future is not a secret. Governing our lives by scripture, therefore, is not antiquarianism, not an irrational preference for the quaintness of the past. It is, indeed, our surest preparation for the future.” (John M. Frame)

2. His world:

§  “The celestial realms announce God’s glory. The skies testify of His hands’ great work. Each day pours out more of their sayings. The celestial realms announce God’s glory. Each day pours out more of their sayings; each night, more to hear and more to learn.” (Psalm 19:1-2, VOICE)

§  “Where can we go to find God if we cannot see Him in our own hearts and in every living being?” (Swami Vivekananda)

3. His word:

§  “God’s laws are perfect. They protect us, make us wise, and give us joy and light.” (Psalm 19:7-8, TLB)

§  "You are a work in progress. Your spiritual transformation in developing the character of Jesus will take the rest of your life, and even then it won't be completed here on earth. It will only be finished when you get to heaven or when Jesus returns.”  (Rick Warren)

4. God’s trustworthiness:

§  “What I say is true, and you should fully accept it: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst.”  (1 Timothy 1:15, NCV)

§  “The same Everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day of your life. Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace then, and put aside all anxious thoughts.”  (Francis de Sales)

5. His design:

§  “Everything came into existence through Him. Not one thing that exists was made without Him.” (John 1:3, GW)

§  “You weren’t an accident. You were deliberately planned.” (Max Lucado)
“Day by day, morning by morning, begin your walk with Him in the calm trust that God is at work in everything...It is your personal business (as a discipline of your heart) to learn to be peaceful and safe in God in every situation...

Remember, friend, where your real living is going on. In your thinking, in your reacting, in your heart of hearts; here is where your walk with God begins and continues. So when you start to move into trusting Him, stay there. Don't wander out again into worry and doubt.” (Anne Ortlund) [i]
