The Prayer Zone (at School)

Dear Heavenly Father may this school…

1.  Authentically receive your love through genuine Christians.

2.  Know forgiveness (and healing) where none has existed before. Identify absolute truth.

3.  Include board members that always keep the best interest of the child in mind.

4.  Contain a principal that takes the authority empowered to him (or her) as an important privilege from God (and the community).

5.  Have Christian teachers that live out their faith to other teachers, who don’t yet know Jesus.

6.  Provide all teachers with courage to make the important daily decisions that rest upon their shoulders alone (as competent educators).

7.  Offer a variety of support staff that will assist students in being respected (and heard in time of need).

8.  Supply adequate assistance for students with learning disabilities, substance abuse, (and emotional instability) based on what is best (and right) in each individual situation.

9.  Partner students with learning issues (which often result in poor grades) with tutors that can help them see their true worth by strengthening their thinking skills.

10.     Put a hedge of protection around students that feel bullied by other peers (and teachers alike).

11.     Provide people that can bring about change (and supply unconditional love).

12.     Be a peaceful haven for students coming from homes with issues of domestic violence, divorce, and abandonment.

13.     Provide them with people that can protect them from physical harm (and gaining more emotional scars).

14.     Not experience man-made violence or environmental destruction of any type (on its grounds). Dismantle any plan (from the enemy) that may harm anyone connected to this school.

15.     Be protected from thoughts of suicide (in students or staff).

16.     Help them to see the truth, and not believe the lies of the Devil (and other spiritual forces of darkness).

17.     Accurately teach the origins of the universe, and the correct distinction between creation and evolution.

18.     Be provided with many different programs that actively demonstrate the love (and harmony) of God.

19.     Produce Christian leaders that will completely worship You in a manner that will engage others to want to know Your nature better.

20.     Include students that are Christians, who are bold (and wise) in their godly testimony to others. *

Will you pray for some of the above needs whenever you are in the physical (or mental) vicinity of a pre, elementary, middle (junior high), high, or home school?

(You can adapt this post in praying for college students, too.) Remember, today’s youth is tomorrow’s future. Let’s provide them with all that we have to offer.

Galatians 3:24-25 (MSG) gives this intriguing insight: “The law was like those Greek tutors, with which you are familiar, who escort children to school and protect them from danger or distraction; making sure the children will really get to the place they set out for. But now you have arrived at your destination. By faith in Christ, you are in direct relationship with God.”

Always remain a lifetime student with your faith. (Be sure of those foundational truths that give you the basis for your way of life.)

My prayer with ENCOURAGE ME (and you life in general) is that you will keep being fascinated with the Almighty’s love and grace in ways that will forever keep you tethered to Him.
