Genuine

Do you believe that all religions are basically the same? If you are a proponent of that idea, than its past time for you to come out of that wrong thinking, and do your research. Though one may find some similarities among various faiths when the differences are examined they are quite apparent.

How does a person ever know which religious belief is right? Going along passively with family tradition, is never a good idea. Your faith must become your own. (2 Timothy 1:5) When hard times come, your religious values can become your lifeline to peace of mind.

Bowing in submission to what you’re told to believe by a well-meaning religious authority, family member or friends doesn’t work for the same logic as above. God expects you to use your brain, and discover the belief system that is a true reflection of the real you. (2 Timothy 2:15)

Intuition is fueled by a person’s feeling, which can change often depending on the circumstances currently happening. With that logic in place, intuition would not be the best method to use in making an important decision like a person’s religious morals. (Proverbs 14:12)

One can only come to terms with their belief system by examining their values in light of the scripture.                        (I Thessalonians 5:20-24, Isaiah 41:21-24) Christianity is different from other religions because it  is not based on the moral teachings of a wise man (that are still in use with a dead leader).

Instead Christianity is based on the person of Jesus Christ, which encompasses His entire life. Unlike all other faiths, the leader of the Christian faith is still alive today.

Ultimately, the Bible does not teach the unattainable goal of perfection as the one way to get to Heaven, or to live Christianity. Assurance in God’s wisdom is the only way the above two items can be achieved. (Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

You need to always realize how significant you are to your Heavenly Father. John 3:16-17 (MSG) declares what was done to demonstrate love in the grandest (most selfless) way was possible. Have you accepted this gift described below? If not, can you do it now without any hesitations? (See Salvation by the Book)

This is how much God loved the world: He gave His Son, His one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one needs to [go to Hell]; by believing in Him, anyone can have whole and lasting life. God didn’t go all the trouble of sending His Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.
