I
vary rarely talk political because I’m not intelligent in it. I do know this. Whether
you voted for the elected officials that are now serving you (president, mayor,
governor, etc.), it does no good to complain about it. All that accomplishes is
making you angry and argumentative. Instead take the approach of prayer for
them and their families. (Can you imagine the stress on everyone?)
Only
God can change minds, and make the right decisions through these people for the
world you live in. As always, your power lies in how you cast your ballot when
it’s time to make those choices.
Even
if it does not agree with your own personal preferences, God chose those that
are now in the seats of power. We have no way of knowing who God intends to
teach a lesson to, them or us. How do we know that what a county treasurer
learns during their term in office will not make them a much better person for
their life out of office?
What
about you? Could it be your existence on Earth will be dramatically changed by
the Almighty (to a life of faith) during the term of some elected official?
Remember, with the friction of trials often something valuable is produced much
like the process of making a Pearl.
So
when it comes to making changes in the political arena, you know exactly what
to do. You can be positive with communication to the Heavenly Father, or choose
negativity to over what you have little control about after voting (and the
majority has chosen). As is always the case, you determine the attitude you
experience and the atmosphere you choose for those around you.
