Connections

This quote by an unknown author is so very true. It says: “The world is becoming a smaller place due to advances in technology.” Improvements in transportation methods and communication devices have made us able to move around our world quicker, and find connections instantly whether we like it or not. There are places in your life where being connected is undesirable. Here is my list. Can you think of more?
·       Anything involving the bathroom.
·       Anything involving couple time.
·       Anything involving reading (or listening) to a good book.
·       Anything involving a parent-teacher conference (if you have school-age children).
·       Anything involving a church service or a conference.
·       Anything involving taking a relaxing nap.
·       Anything involving play time with your favorite pet (if that is possible).
·       Anything involving a procedure being done by a dentist.
·       Anything involving a funeral.

These are just a few ideas. It doesn’t matter whether you’re connected to technology or not, the important thing is to be available when you are needed. You have no idea when God can use you in a big way in the life of someone else. Just be willing and able.
