Stop by for a Visit

Most churches have a guest ministry for every first time visitor (local or out of state) to their church. If you fill out a newcomer’s card, you could receive a personal letter from that church thanking you for the visit, and encouraging you to return again. Various churches do various things to show their appreciation for stopping by for a spiritual tune-up.
Gifts that I have seen given out in the churches my family has attended include brownie jars (dry ingredients), a loaf of homemade bread (from a local bakery), a travel mug, a version of the Bible, or free passes to a local gym or restaurant. Also with every gift guests will most likely find a card with the church address and phone number, service times, and the church website address

If you are looking for a needed, life-changing way to donate your money, consider giving to a church’s newcomer ministry. Of course, before doing this either visit the church, or better yet get a good majority of the information that’s needed through the internet and the comfort of your home. Trust both your brain (the facts) and your instincts (feelings) on what you find. Only you know the best church fit for you.
