Every
caterpillar has to go through a metamorphosis (or transformation) to become a beautiful, colorful butterfly.
Eventually, everyone (if they live long enough) will experience some form of alteration
in their life. Examples of life alteration can be the death of a loved one,
health conditions changing with age, plastic surgery, or a new life regimen
(diet and exercise).
As
previously stated in my 2014 blog article, My
Three Wives, one of the greatest examples of changes that year involved my
wife, Bobbi. Her bariatric surgery caused transformations with her body, a
decrease in her waistline, and a return to the personality I fell in love with
(and married so long ago). The overall body pain (and the extra weight associated
with it) that caused the whole dilemma in the first place were greatly
diminished (or entirely gone).
When
you read this article on the topic of “change,” chances are something came
immediately to your mind. What is it? Do you need to part ways with someone who
drags you down emotionally? Do you need make one small step in the direction of
some form of weight loss surgery? (It was worth it as a married couple.)
Could
returning to college for further education be in your future for the job career
you’ve always wanted? Adopting a new pet, or finally committing to a
relationship with that special someone might be “just what the doctor ordered.”
Your future can be as bright as you choose it to be.
