Soundtrack

“Each memory has a soundtrack of its own.” (Russ Mort P)

Hey there, Old Friend,

Where do I begin? Do you realize how much you've done for me or how you've impacted my life? I can't thank you enough for the relationship we have.

You're there for me regardless of what's going on in my life. I can count on you to be there for me at any hour of the day or night. You've comforted me during hard times, calmed me down during stressful times, enlivened the celebratory times, brightened my days, and so much more. You've seen me through every stage and phase of my life. You've grown with me. You're part of every significant memory I have.

One of the many things I love about you is how you bring people together. So many people are able to bond over you, and it gives us humans a deeper connection. Some of my happiest memories are being with friends and family while singing and dancing together. There have been plenty of times where you have made the experience what it is.

I don’t just love you. I’m passionate about you. You have influenced what I have done in my life. I’m inspired to create because of you. You have brought so much happiness into my life, and for that, I thank you.

I like to think you're the closest thing people have to magic. How did you come about? How did you become so influential? You are able to be developed in any way imaginable. You are within everything and everyone. Every person in the world is able to connect to you. You understand every situation. You are always there.

Music, you are my dear friend. Thank you for all you have given this world. I can’t quite find the right words to express how much you mean to me. So, I guess I will listen to you to find what I’m looking for.

Always,

A Music Junkie[i]
