Grace comes from an inner well that it is so deep that no one can comprehend it, but the Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus. It doesn’t dry up, and we need to receive it and give it away freely. Grace is God moving closer to me. It’s His provision of abundance for me, His child.
Grace Him telling me not to worry because He has it all under control. Grace is Jesus’ being the ransom for our sins. God’s grace is strong and mighty as He watches over us through everything we encounter. You may wonder if grace has a sound to it. Jesus proved that it does in three unique ways:
1.
With the sound of a baby:
“Therefore the Lord
Himself will give you a sign: Listen carefully, the [a]virgin will conceive and give birth to a
son, and she will call his name Immanuel (God with us).” Isaiah 7:14 (AMP)
2.
With the sound of crucifixion:
“When people sin,
they earn what sin pays—death. But God gives his people a free gift—eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 (ERV)
3.
With the sound of chains falling:
“Sin must not be
your master; for you do not live under law but under God's grace.”
Romans 6:14 (GNT)
“Grace is what God gives us when we don't
deserve, and mercy is when God doesn't
give us what we do deserve.” (Dan Roberts)[i]
