Wise Up

Have you ever heard statements like this made about the intelligence of a particular person? “He’s so stupid,””She’s such an idiot,”” He hasn’t got the brains God gave an ant,” “The lights are out upstairs,””She’s a few French fries short of a kid’s meal.”
The dictionary says a wise person is “prudent and sensible.” An individual that has wisdom is “understanding of what is true, right, or lasting.” Do you fit this description? Do you want to fit this description?
The Bible has a lot to say on the topic of “wisdom”. Here are well-known scripture references on the topic of insight. Proverbs 16:16 says true knowledge is worth more than money. James 1:5 assures us that if we are uncertain of what were doing; pray to the Almighty because He wants to help in our times of need. God won’t make fun of you for doing this either.

What choices in your life do you need to make to be considered wise? It is never too late to walk on the “straight and narrow path” to God.  How can you put in place the qualities of the wisest person you know? Do everything you can to be the best, wisest version of yourself that is possible. This will be a life long task, but you are capable of achieving it.
