God of All Comfort?

Are you angry with God? According to the Bible, are you allowed to ask that? Yes. Will God be big enough to handle my anger? Yes. Why did God allow my relative or pet (who) to die, dissolve a close friendship to dissolve, or allow a house or job (career) to vanish? So you know up front, these are all important questions of which this article will not delve into the answers (on purpose). (Maybe with all these questions, God can help provide the answers He wants you to have.)
Many times, God seems to be silent when it comes to us needing answers to our difficulties. Be assured that God hears your prayers. Like the operator at your favorite store, God may have to place your request on hold for a brief moment, but you are still active in His thoughts.
What is God asking you to do that totally aggravate you every time He puts the request on your mind? Maybe God wants you to preach at your church. Your fear of public speaking and the knowledge of your own imperfections have totally got you stuck (without a promise of getting unstuck).
Maybe it is time for you to mend a relationship that has been messed up for the longest time. You have no idea how to begin the process with all the hurt you hold inside. Your church has hurt you deeply. You want to right God off completely. Should you? Think about it carefully. (God is not the church building or the congregation though He is there, Matthew 18:20.)
You are not the first person to be angry with God, nor will you be the last. Welcome to the real world (as we know it today). Your feelings are not an accurate barometer for your relationship with heavenly Father. Be assured you are more important to God than you can ever imagine. It’s absolutely true.
