The Seeker

In the beginning, God created the first man, Adam, in His image from the dust of the ground (Genesis 1:27-28, 2:7). Millions of descendants later, each male seeks to answer the question, “What is a real man?” in a way that makes sense to them.

Men have always had a wide array of questions about themselves, which “that stubborn male pride” often keeps them from asking (or seeking out answers to those questions).

Useful information is included in The Doctor’s Book of Home Remedies for Men (edited by Jack Croft) on such personal concerns as gas, body odor, asking for directions, being assertive, stopping bad habits, making commitments, grooming head hair, belching, tardiness, preventing baldness, getting a close shave (without razor burn), making the morning pre-work routine easier, home/office organization, avoiding muscle soreness after an intense workout, and stopping teeth grinding during sleep.

Inside Total Health for Men (edited by Neil Wertheimer), any male can easily find information about life-threatening ailments like alcoholism, anxiety attacks, high blood pressure, ulcers, Alzheimer’s Disease, Diabetes, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and hearing loss that are discussed in an understandable, sensitive, non-judgmental manner. No matter who you are this reference guide will help you (or a family member on your behalf) more knowledgeably communicate with your doctor on crucial health decisions.

The above two books are great guides to improve a man’s overall quality of life (without spending lots of research time on the Internet to find it). As the Heavenly Father’s son, you are always on His mind. Proverbs 5:21(MSG) makes this important fact known. “Mark well that God doesn’t miss a move you make; He’s aware of every step you make.” Does this information comfort you or scare you?
