Wanted

The reality of Jeremiah 1:5 (MSG) sends chills up my spine. It says, “Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you…” I relate to this verse through my good family friend, Charlotte Massey.
As soon as she found out my mom was pregnant with me (somewhere around the end of 1962 to mid 1963), she loved me even before I was born on August 18, 1963. Since that time she has been my greatest fan as our friendship continues to grow (and life goes on).
If that kind of thing can happen with two imperfect human beings, could it be that an infinite God loves so greatly that He knows how many hairs are on your head at any given point in time (Matthew 10:30).
The Almighty wants to communicate intimately with you through the avenues of prayer and worship. The sound of your voice thrills Him (Psalms 67:16).
He wants to hear from (and know) the imperfect you, but it’s your choice. Come to Him now because He knows you better than you know yourself.
You can be confident that God knows (and is in control) of both your life and the world (in general). Though people (and places) around you may change with time, Jesus Christ is both eternal (Hebrews 13:8). Be assured He will be there with throughout your existence. He is completely reliable.
