The Five Languages of Apology By Gary Chapman and Jennifer Thomas

Just as every human being has their own unique love language (quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, and physical touch) that is the best way to express “you care” to them her, there is also a best way to apologize to someone. They are:
v Expressing Regret – “I am sorry.”
v Accepting Responsibility – “I was wrong.”
v Making Restitution – “What I do to make it right?”
v Genuinely Repenting –“I’ll try not to do that again.”
v Requesting Forgiveness “Will you please forgive me?”

What do you think? In addition to the valuable information in this book you’ll also find an Apology Personal Profile so that you can pinpoint the one type of apology that means the most to you. If this is something that you (or a loved one) desperately needs, purchase this book or check it out from your local library. You won’t be sorry that you did.
