Boring

” Life is too short to have boring hair.” (Anonymous)

Did you know that hair is part of your beauty, and taking care of it is in your hands? Do you often dislike the way your hair styles in the morning as you get ready for your day? You're the one spraying it with dry shampoo on those woke-up-late-in-the-morning days.

You blast it with hot air of a blow dryer, or get unnecessarily aggressive with a brush as you style your hair. To undo all that harsh treatment, you've got to show your love by coaxing out the shiny, healthy hair you were born with.

To have healthy hair, you need to maintain a diet full of protein, vitamins, and water. Try to limit bleaching, coloring, and heat procedures. Do your best to keep your hair treatments as natural as you can.

Amidst the pressures of one’s daily life, the upkeep of one’s hair can often get ignored. In a human body, skin and hair are most exposed to the elements. Hair can get weak, damaged, and dull. Would it surprise you to know that you may have foods in your kitchen that can help you to have healthier hair? Here are some of those food items:

1.   Aloe Vera and Honey: Aloe Vera is considered to be a good rebuilding agent and conditioner. On the other hand, Honey is excellent for giving shine to your hair. Take a bowl, mix equal amounts of Aloe Vera, Honey and a good conditioner. Apply it on your hair end-to-end and leave it to dry for approximately five to ten minutes, and wash it with a good shampoo later.

Avoid buying Aloe Vera gels or similar products that have alcohol as an ingredient. Go for the Aloe Vera plant. Honey is not recommended for people who have dark hair. You can also mix Jojoba oil (in case Aloe Vera is not available).

Honey alone can help in getting good hair as well. It helps in moisturizing the hair and giving shine. Take cup of honey and mix it with cup of water. Apply the mixture on wet hair. Keep it on for fifteen minutes. Wash your hair with a good shampoo and rinse well with water.

2.   Coconut Oil : Coconut is considered to be the healthiest fruit. Its oil provides that much needed nourishment to dull hair. Use coconut oil as per the thickness and length of the hair. Start applying from one hair to the other. Your scalp already has lot of natural oils. You are not required to rub it in too much. People who have oily hair can avoid rubbing the oil near the hairline.

Dry hair needs more of coconut oil near the scalp and hairline. Massage your hair gently for some time, and wash it with lukewarm water. Wrap your hair. Keep it like that for thirty minutes. Wash it with good shampoo and then condition. Let your hair dry naturally, and do not rub it while it is wet.  Give strength and nutrients to your hair with coconut.

3.   Eggs: Eggs are highly recommended for hair treatments (especially conditioning). They provide that exact amount of moisture and shine you have been looking for. Wet your hair, beat two eggs in a bowl, pour the well whisked egg yolk on your hair, distribute it through your hair with  a wide- toothed comb, let it for fifteen minutes, and then wash it with a good shampoo. Rinse shampoo out well to get maximum shine.

Yogurt: It is high on protein content. Yogurt can help you get back the missing strength of your hair. Take plain yogurt (quantity depending upon the length of your hair), and spread it all over your hair. Keep it in for approximately twenty to thirty minutes. Once the yogurt gets hardened, wash it properly with a good shampoo, and then use conditioner.
